Dr. Daniel Gomes is originally from Caracas, Venezuela. He received his D.D.S. from Central University of Venezuela in 1991 and practiced as a General Dentist for 5 years before joining the Oral Biology PhD program at Indiana University. He received his D.D.S. and Master in Periodontics from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2004. Dr. Gomes has served as president of the Indianapolis West Side Study Club. He is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, Leader of Franks Spear Study Club, American Dental Association, Academy of Osseointegration, ITI Study Club, and the Indianapolis District Dental Society. In his free time, Dr. Gomes enjoys spending time with his wife, Cristina, and their 3 children. He also enjoys running, biking, playing soccer, and traveling.
