Dr. Dan Hillis is a longtime Mason resident, husband, father, and avid outdoorsman. Born into a family that believed fully in living a life of service to others, when first introduced to Dr. Hillis the first thing you notice is his genuineness and contagious energy that comes from practicing what he loves most each and every day. From the earliest age, Dr Hillis' family and friends could see that he was hard-wired with a curiosity that drove him to investigate, study, tinker, repair, and improve just about everything he touched. That passion to never stop learning, to uncover new and better approaches to meeting a need or solving a problem, is what led Dr. Hillis to where he is today in his practice at Mason Dental Care. Dr. Hillis will be the first to tell you he is not your typical dentist and has built his practice by providing dental care that goes beyond what patients expect, and beyond what many dentists offer. In fact, Dr. Hillis has become a trusted referral resource for a number of dentists who turn to him for his knowledge and experience with advanced dental technology and techniques. When asked by his staff what they believe makes Dr. Hillis unique among his peers, they would tell you that Dr. Hillis will always do what is in the best interest of the patient. That means running an efficient practice so that he never has to compromise on using the highest quality products, and it means that he retains a very loyal staff who are intimately involved in the business so that they feel valued, empowered and a have sense of ownership in the care that is provided to each patient. Dr. Hillis has completed thousands of hours in continuing education, lectured on industry topics amongst his peers, written and published articles within the industry, and achieved training and certifications in multiple areas of dentistry including surgery, full mouth reconstruction, orthodontics, TMJ, cosmetics, gum reconstruction, and implants.
