About
Dr. Daniel Jacobs was born in Northwest Pennsylvania. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Pittsburgh, where he graduated summa cum laude. He moved to Philadelphia, where he received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania in the spring of 2007. After finishing dental school, Dr. Jacobs completed a general practice residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. Since the completion of his residency, Dr. Jacobs has practiced in Philadelphia and Boston, and is now practicing in his wife's hometown of New York. Dr. Jacobs is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Cosmetic Orthodontics, and serves as the Senior Page in the New York Graduate Chapter of the international dental fraternity, Delta Sigma Delta. He also advances his training at the state-of-the-art Kois Center in Seattle. Dr. Jacobs is a caring, dedicated, and ethical professional. He understands that each patient has different needs and expectations, and therefore feels that all treatment should be customized according to the person, not the tooth. Patients can expect a kind, enthusiastic professional with a genuine interest in you as a person as he guides you through a lifetime of dental care. When Dr. Jacobs isn't busy caring for patients, he enjoys an active life filled with family, fitness, and cooking, all of which he enjoys with his wife Arielle, two daughters, and their dog Lola.
