I’ve been going to the McAtee office all my life. Started with his dad. I have great teeth for over 5 decades now so I don’t think a dentist can be better than that!

Dr. McAtee and his staff are the best! I had my first teeth cleaning there. Dr. McAtee does the cleaning with an assistant helping. Very gentle and thorough, listens to your concerns, explains everything, and doesn't make you feel rushed. Stepping into the building is like stepping into a time machine....the decor and everything is from the 1970's I think, but I kind-of liked it! My last dental visit was at another Collinsville dentist (near Horseshoe lake road) and they had all the fancy equipment and the latest "stuff", but tried to tell me my teeth were horrible and I needed all kinds of crowns and expensive treatments. I knew that my teeth were just fine and didn't need ANY of that. Which was confirmed at Dr. McAtee's office. I highly recommend him! The office staff is also wonderful!

I have been seeing Dr. McAtee for years now; way back when his dad was head honcho there. :) I have tried one other dentist since living in Illinois, because my insurance pushed me in that direction, and after that horrifying experience, I was running back to Dr. McAtee. One time, after seeing him, we were in the front office, talking about an exposed root of an upper molar, and he took me right back to the chair I had just been in and filled it in for NO COST! Can't go wrong here!

Very friendly & thorough & efficient. I Broke a tooth & he got me in right away. He put in a temporary cap & a week later had the crown ready for me. He explained everything as he did the procedure. His assistant is also very friendly. I would very highly recommend Dr. Daniel McAtee for your dental needs!

I broke a wisdom tooth one morning and was referred to Dr.McAtee. I was able to get in the very next morning at 8:30 a.m. I arrived at 8:20 and filled out all my new patient paperwork, was taken back for x-rays, spoke with the dentist, and was numbed up and my wisdom tooth was pulled. I walked out of the door at 9:17! I am currently having some issues with a different tooth and called them earlier today, they are able to see me tomorrow! Staff is extremely friendly also!
