About
Originally from Manassas, VA, Dr. Daniel G. Miller, DDS graduated Cum Laude with a BS in Biology from West Virginia University in 2009. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2015. Dr. Miller completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency Program in 2016. There, he received advanced training in restorative dentistry, dentures, cosmetics, endodontics, extractions, bone and tissue grafting, as well as the placement and restoration of dental implants. After residency, Dr. Miller has taken intensive courses in IV Sedation and Wisdom Tooth Removal so that he can provide those services for his patients. He regularly takes well over 100 hours of Continuing Education a year (far above the minimum of 15 hours) so he can provide the highest quality and best researched dental care for his patients. As a dentist caring for your entire family, Dr. Miller sets his patients at ease by thoroughly explaining treatment options to help you confidently make the best choices for your dental health. Dr. Miller is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), the North Carolina Dental Society and the Charlotte Dental Society, as well as the Seattle Study Club. A believer in giving back, Dr. Miller volunteers his time providing dental care for underprivileged people. He has traveled to the Philippines, the Dominican Republic, and various areas of the United States participating in Remote Area Medical trips. He is also a regular volunteer on the ADA Jenkins Dental bus in Huntersville, as one of the few general dentists who provide extraction services for free. Dr. Miller moved to the Charlotte area to be near friends and family. He loves to cook, enjoys the great outdoors and is huge fan of his West Virginia Mountaineers. He's also into physical fitness, completing his first triathlon in 2015.
