About
Dr. Bonebreak attended the University of Maryland, College Park, where he obtained a degree in Biology, graduating a year early with the distinction of magna cum laude. Dr. Bonebreak then obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore. He graduated dental school with the honor of magna cum laude and was active in NIH funded research studying the role of estrogen in the inflammatory response. Dr. Bonebreak then completed a residency in orthodontics in Fort Lauderdale at the Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine, receiving a specialty Certificate in Orthodontics. While in Ft. Lauderdale, Dr. Bonebreak also obtained a Master of Science degree. He is an active member of many professional organizations including the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Maryland State Dental Association and the Maryland State Society of Orthodontists. Dr. Bonebreak remains at the forefront of orthodontics through attending continuing education courses throughout the nation focused on orthodontic techniques and evidenced based research in the field of orthodontics. He believes that it is imperative to remain a student of the profession, as the field of orthodontics is dynamic and frequently changes to the benefit of the patient. In his leisure time, Dr. Bonebreak enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing pick-up basketball, weightlifting, and traveling. He is also an avid sports fan and enjoys supporting the Terps.
