About
Dr. Marks grew up in Indianapolis, earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from DePauw University, attended IU Dental School, and completed a dental residency in Charlotte, NC. He enjoys practicing dentistry and playing golf. Fortunately, Suzanne, his wife of 36 years has the same passion for golf. She is a real estate broker with Carpenter Realtors. They live in Carmel and enjoy traveling to places on their "bucket list". Dr. Marks loves working in the yard and regularly volunteers maintaining the Carmel Dad's Club softball fields. He also donates platelets on a regular basis. His son, Aaron, is a golf professional in Charlottesville, Virginia. He met his wife, Hollyday, while working at Jupiter Island CC in Florida. Aaron and Hollyday have two sons, Landon and Brody. His Daughter, Emily, graduated from the University of Kentucky where she played softball. She earned her Master's in Human Services and Counseling from DePaul University in Chicago. In July 2013, she started dental school at IUSD and plans to join the practice in 2017. She and her husband, Phillip, live in Carmel and have a daughter, Emma Jane, and a son, Connor. Being a father has always been a major joy for Dr. Marks. Now the excitement continues with the fun of being an active grandparent! He sees Landon and Brody as much as possible considering the distance. He babysits Emma Jane and Connor on Wednesdays. He says that is now his favorite day of the week!
