About
Dr. David Pumphrey has been in private practice specializing in the field of Periodontics and Dental Implants since 1986. He earned both his dental degree and postgraduate certificate in Periodontics from Emory University School of Dentistry. Dr. Pumphrey is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, Georgia Dental Association, International College of Dentists, Pierre Fauchard Academy and several other prestigious dental societies. He is past President of the Northern District Dental Society and has held many positions of leadership in the Georgia Dental Association. In addition to serving in organized dentistry, he has lectured in the field of Implantology and regeneration techniques as well as being published locally and nationally. He continues to strive for excellence in his profession through participation in higher levels of continuing dental education in the field of Dental Implants and Periodontics, as well as surgical cosmetic procedures and the interrelationship of occlusion and dental stability.
