Dr. David C. Schaefer is dedicated to providing expert orthodontic care for you and your family. After serving over 20 years in the military, Dr. Schaefer is excited to be back in his home state of Georgia and creating beautiful smiles in our wonderful community.Professional Affiliations As a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, Dr. Schaefer is also a member of many prestigious professional associations including the: American Association of Orthodontists Georgia Association of Orthodontics Southern Association of Orthodontics College of Diplomates, American Board of Orthodontics In the CommunityDr. Schaefer believes in giving back to the community and finds that volunteering his time to help others to be very rewarding. He is actively involved in Habitat for Humanity and the Wounded Warrior Project for wounded vets. He has also volunteered for many year at local VA facilities. Outside the Office Dr. Schaefer is a believer in enjoying life to the fullest. He enjoys many outdoor activities, including golf, fishing, camping, skiing, snowboarding and hiking. However, he is most passionate about spending quality time with his family. Dr. Schaefer and his wife Petra are raising three teenaged children: Jonathan, Justin and Marissa. Dr. Schaefer's warm demeanor and wealth of knowledge will quickly put you at ease.
