About
Dr. David J Schlactus graduated Summa Cum Laude and first in his class from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He then completed a General Practice Residency at Lenox Hill Hospital, located on the upper east side of Manhattan, before entering private practice. After five years of living in New York City, he and his wife Stacy decided to move to Montgomery County, where Stacy grew up, in order to start and raise a family. Dr. David purchased his current practice in February 2000 and has maintained and grown this thriving general dental practice created by his predecessors. For the past six years, he has focused his practice on preventative care and patient education. He continually pursues and perfects his special interests in cosmetic and implant dentistry. Dr. Schlactus loves having a true family practice. He has been selected by his peers/colleagues as one of the best dentists in the area, as well by his patients in Checkbook Magazine. Active in Continuing Education, Dr. Schlactus is a member of the American Dental Association, the Maryland State Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honors Society, Alpha Omega, an international Jewish dental fraternity and is President elect of the local chapter of Alpha Omega.
