Dr. Diane D. Romaine, DMD In 1995, after graduating from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Romaine began practicing dentistry in Frostburg, Maryland where she now resides with her husband and two children. Dr. Romaine is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art training and equipment so that she, as well as her staff, offers patients excellent dental care in a comfortable environment. Dr. Romaine's most prestigious accomplishments have been to obtain her Fellowship in the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentist. Fellowship in the American College of Dentist is by invitation and is based on a proven, confidential, peer-review system that has remained intact since the inception of the College in 1920. Fellows of the College have records of leadership, excellence, and meritorious achievement in dentistry or public service. This is a distinct honor and it is often the high point in ones dental career since only about 3.5% of dentists in the United States have been granted Fellowship in the College. Dr. Romaine continues to be very involved with the Maryland State Dental Association and the Allegany-Garrett County Dental Society where she serves as Past - President for both organizations. She is very passionate about educating the community by participating in dental education outreaches and serving on local boards and committees. These efforts led her to establish the first, and ongoing, Mission of Mercy free dental clinic in Maryland which serves the under insured and those with dental needs that otherwise would not be able to afford care. In 2016, Dr. Romaine has opened a second practice, the Bedford Dental Health Center, in Bedford, PA continuing the care of Dr. Frank Cullen's patients and opening to new patients in the area. Dr. Essam Ibrahim is the main provider at the Bedford office.
