About
Dr. Nuhfer was born and raised near Titusville, Pennsylvania, the youngest of six. After high school, she attended the University of Pittsburgh for Dental Assisting and Dental Hygiene. She then earned her BS in education from the California University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Nuhfer continued her education at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, earning a DMD in 1986. Dr. Nuhfer gained her dental experience working in private practice in York, Pa and Baltimore, Md. After moving to Erie and working with a private practice as well as the Martin Luther King Center, she began an associateship with Dr. Ben Mosier in 1995. Dr. Nuhfer acquired the practice in 1999 when Dr. Mosier retired and made North East her home. Dr. Nuhfer has three wonderful children, Andrew, Adam and Lisa. She also has a schnauzer named T-Bone, that comes to work everyday and gets spoiled by staff and patients alike. Dr. Nuhfer enjoys traveling in her free time.
