Tillis Award for Excellence in Dental Journalism, the NYU Alumnae Key Pin Award for Outstanding Achievement, and an Outstanding Academic Achievement and Service to the Community Award from the NYU Association of Black Faculty, Administrators, and Staff.Dr. Finlay is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentists and a member of the American Dental Association, the Bronx County Dental Society and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentists.In her spare time, Dr. Finlay enjoys traveling and participates in international outreach projects. She is the mother of one son, who is also a dentist.
