About
Dr. Donald Reily has a passion for his work and orthodontics! As one of his patients, you'll be comfortable with his easy-going nature, sense of humor and encouraging attitude. Dr. Reily enjoys encouraging children and young adults in their pursuit of a career in dentistry. Dr. Reily is a native of Des Plaines, IL and attended Elk Grove High School. By junior year, having worn braces himself, he realized that an orthodontic career offered an exciting opportunity to combine his interests in art and science. His dream was soon realized while working as an orthodontic laboratory technician, where he met Dr. Sellke. A long-time personal and professional friendship ensued and the rest is history. Dr. Reily completed his undergraduate education at Loyola University in 1975. He received his orthodontic training at the University of Illinois, where he graduated with honors in 1979. He continued on at Illinois, receiving his specialty and Master's degree in 1982. Since graduation, Dr. Reily continues to attend numerous courses and seminars on the practice of orthodontics. He has, like Dr. Sellke, served in all offices of the Lake County Dental Society. Both are members of the American Dental Association, the Illinois and Midwest Orthodontic Society, the American Association of Orthodontists, and the Illinois Orthodontic Alumni Association. When he's not having fun straightening teeth you can usually find Dr. Reily bicycling or celebrating special occasions with his large, extended family. Among his many interests are nutrition, exercise, yoga, hiking, traveling, reading and live theater.
