About
A native of Ohio, Dr. Douglas W. Alderman graduated from Miami University (Ohio) in 1970 with a BA in Chemistry. He received his DDS from Ohio State University in March 1974 and was commissioned in the US Public Health Service, assigned to the US Coast Guard. Dr. Alderman was stationed in Yorktown, VA; New London, CT; New Orleans, LA; Alameda, CA; and Washington, DC; and was in private practice in Springfield before joining Dental Arts Center in June 2002. Dr. Alderman brings with him nearly four decades of clinical experience and health care management. He is experienced in all phases of preventative and restorative dentistry, including crowns and bridges for natural teeth and implants, and composite (white) fillings and veneers are a routine part of his practice. He also works closely with all of the specialists at Fusion Dental to provide the best possible care for his patients.
