About
Dr. Douglas Desatnik graduated Cum Laude from the Ohio State University College of Dentistry. During his time at OSU, he completed a periodontal mini-residency program and helped to start a limited care dental clinic. In addition to an implant association fellowship, Dr. Desatnik has received advanced education in adult orthodontics, dental implants, periodontal surgery, and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Desatnik is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Ohio Dental Association, the Greater Cleveland Dental Society, Spear, the International Dental Implant Association, the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Prior to his career in dentistry, Dr. Desatnik worked in computer programming and website development for seven years before returning to college for dental school pre-requisite coursework. A longtime supporter of Cleveland and Ohio State sports teams, Dr. Desatnik grew up in Beachwood, Ohio and now lives in Solon with his wife, three children and, of course, their beloved family dog.
