About
Dr. Dustin Goetz is a highly skilled young dentist whose professors in dental school always admired his unique perspectives to performing routine procedures and attention of detail. Dr. Goetz is excited to bring his perspective through new technologies and comfortable dentistry to the Aurora area, through his purchase of Smiles of Aurora. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago where he received his Bachelor of Science in Biological Engineering. He then attended the University of Illinois College of Dentistry and received his Doctoral Degree in Dental Surgery in 2014. Although constantly being approached by various departments to continue at UIC College of Dentistry in various advanced specialty fields, Doc G was excited to put his skills to work immediately focusing on restorative dentistry. Consequently he spends much of his time taking extensive courses in this area with a focus on cosmetics, to bring his patients a healthy, beautiful smile. Doc G believes this gives him the opportunity to develop life long relationships with his patients and members of the community for years to come. Through his gifted hands and commitment to learning the safest, most technologically advanced procedures, Dr Goetz is sky rocketing to become one of the top dentists in his profession. Throughout school Dr. Goetz spent much of his free time involved in extracurricular activities and working in many different fields. From running his own electronics business, working for Apple as a college representative, and assisting at several area dental offices, he also served as Vice President, President Elect and President of UIC's American Student Dental Association chapter. This gave him a unique perspective on the challenges students were facing in and out of school. He looks forward to sharing his diverse background of learning experiences with his new community here in Aurora. Outside the office, Dr. Goetz is very active with his family, friends, and community. Since 1999 he has been actively involved with his family's horse ranch where he has raised horses from foaling, assisted with training, and has shown in eventing as an amateur rider–going all the way to the American Eventing Championships his first year showing on his green stallion, Dr. McDreamy. Horseback riding is just one of the many outdoor activities Dr. Goetz enjoys. Be it summer or winter, when you don't see Doc G in the office you will most likely find him outside enjoying many of the wonderful sports and other amenities Chicago and its surrounding areas have to offer.
