Dr. Earnest Trent, DDS

About

Dr. Trent is originally from the Beckley area and he graduated from Independence High in 1986. He graduated from West Virginia University in 1990 with a Bachelor's degree in Biology. He then went on to WVU School of Dentistry, where he graduated a semester early and passed the Northeast Regional Boards. He paid for his education by working summers in the coal mines. In 1994, promptly after graduation, he purchased the practice of the late Dr. Carsey in Mason, West Virginia. He graduated from Midwest Implant Institute in 2005 and has been placing and restoring implants for over 10 years. He is currently in the process of becoming an MII Fellow. He is also a member of The American Dental Association and The West Virginia Dental Association. Dr. Trent married his wife Jennifer while he was in dental school. They have been married for more than 20 years and they live in Point Pleasant with their two children, Hunter and Autumn. Dr. Trent and his family regularly attend the First Church of God in Point Pleasant. He is an avid gun collector and enjoys hunting and building guns in his spare time.
