About
Dr. Ed DeAndrade is a specialist in periodontics and dental implantology. His practice specializes in conservative treatment of gum disease including cosmetic procedures to aesthetically enhance the smile as well as dental implants. Dr. DeAndrade received his D.D.S. degree in 1995 from New York University College of Dentistry. He graduated at the top of his class and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, The National Dental Honor Society. Dr. DeAndrade later completed a two year general practice residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in N.Y. He received his three year specialty training in Periodontics at the West Los Angeles Veteran Affairs Medical Center. Dr. DeAndrade is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, which is the highest level of professional achievement in periodontics, and a distinction achieved by a very few number of periodontists. He takes pride in providing his patients the best dental care possible in a state-of-the-art facility. He is the director of the Southern Nevada Premier Study Club; the Henderson chapter of the Seattle Study Club; a nationally renowned study club for dentists. He has been rated as a top Las Vegas Dentist by his peers in Las Vegas Life Magazine for two years. Dr. DeAndrade is one of the premier periodontists in the Las Vegas Valley. He is well known for his great bedside manner, attention to detail and ability to communicate with his patients to create a great level of understanding. His patients commend him for his rare ability to communicate the necessary medical lingo of their treatment programs in a manner that they can understand and learn from. The doctor is often complimented for his ability to listen and understand his patients needs. He has been happily married to the love of his life , Ellyn for 18 years.
