"Dentistry, to me, is about the people – the people I meet, the life stories I learn, and the smiles I change." Education Butler University – Indianapolis, IN Indiana University School of Dentistry – Indianapolis, IN Life & Hobbies When Liz was in the second grade, she was missing both of her two front teeth. She sang, "All I Want for Christmas is My Two Front Teeth" in front of her entire school! From then on, she knew teeth and smiles would have a big impact on her life! A Midwest native, she spent her time outdoors – camping, playing sports, swimming, and developing a love for physical health. She carried that passion to Butler University, where she loved studying chemistry, and eventually, it led her to Indiana University School of Dentistry. Along the way, Dr. Closurdo furthered her love for physical health with weightlifting, kayaking, and hiking… and recovers with the occasional beer. She's all for balance, of course! Her rescue pup, Hank, is a required attendee for all occasions.
