About
Born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky, Elliot will be the first to tell you that he bleeds blue! He proudly completed the entirety of his undergraduate and professional training at the University of Kentucky, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, a Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree, and a Master of Science degree. Dr. Neuman completed his graduate thesis, "Autophagy Pathway Gene Expression Profiles during Periodontics", during his three-year specialty training in periodontics and implant surgery. Following graduation, he continues to serve at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry as a part-time faculty member in the Department of Periodontology. Dr. Neuman values staying current on periodontal procedures and has a keen interest in research and technology. In June of 2015, he achieved status as a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, a recognized specialty of the American Dental Association. He is also a member of professional organizations such as the American Academy of Peridontology, International Team for Implantology, American Dental Association, Kentucky Dental Association, and Bluegrass Study Club. Dr. Neuman enjoys giving back by volunteering his time and talent for the Mission Lexington Dental Clinic and Dentistry From the Heart. Dr. Neuman and his wife, Whitney, have 2 beautiful little girls! Ryan Elizabeth was born in July 2015 and Sydney Ann was born in August 2017. When not at the office, Dr. Neuman loves spending time with his family, playing the drums, and cheering on the Cats!
