Dr. Ellis Neiburger, DDS

Dr. Neiburger (Skip) graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelors degree in Dentistry (1966) and a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 1968. He did postgraduate research in Oral Pathology (at UIC) and Forensic Dentistry at the U.S. Armed Forces Institute of Pathology. He has taught at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry, Roosevelt University, Carthage College, University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee and the University of Chicago, Dept. of Medicine. Dr. N continues to do work in dental research and education. He has written five books on dentistry and published hundreds of scholarly articles in leading scientific journals. Dr. N has served as Chief of the Dental Department of St. Therese Hospital (now Vista West) and Science Chairman for the Illinois State Dental Society. He is editor of two dental journal publications. Dr. N has been instrumental in introducing several new technologies to dentistry. He has pioneered the use of computers (1970-80's), lasers (1990's) and non-invasive comfort control techniques (1970's-2007) in dentistry.
