About
Dr. Elyce Millery grew up in Rockville, Maryland, and received her B.S. degree in Nutritional Science from University of Maryland College Park. Working as a dental assistant for her former pediatric dentist solidified her dental school ambitions. After earning her DDS from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, she decided to call Hanover home and go directly into private practice. Dr. Millery feels Inspired Dental Care is part of her calling to help people and support them through transitional phases in life. She has faced and overcome a few of her own, with one of the most impactful being an undiagnosed medical condition that left her temporarily unable to walk. Through faith, she was able to get through a challenging, painful moment and find purpose on the other side: creating an environment where people feel safe and secure, and providing care that strengthens their oral health and enhances the beauty of their smile. Away from the office, Dr. Millery treasures the company of her loving family—husband Lorfils and young sons, Lorfils Zachariah and Joshua. They regard the Hanover community as a hidden gem and appreciate its easy access to Baltimore and Washington, D.C. They love going to the park, walking, and taking annual trips to Florida together as a family. Dr. Millery also has a passion for running and has completed a full marathon, two half-marathons, and numerous 5ks. Her favorite race is the annual Baltimore Women's Classic, which she has completed every year since 2009.
