If you have a child under 4 do not take them here. Do not let this place be their first experience with a dentist. Dr. Cortes literally suggested taking my child’s teeth without anesthesia because I was concerned she was too young. My poor baby was in tears there and she never even said any encouraging words to her. I think I was in shock by her cold demeanor and looking back should have left. But I mean this is a pediatric dentist office. I think she just be good with older kids because she does have good reviews but not so much with little, little ones.

WORST PEDIATRIC DENTISTRY OFFICE IN KANSAS!!! BEWARE! I will proceed to call her Dentist Cortes. My child was traumatized at this Pediatric Dentist office run by Dentist Cortes. The first consultation they took X-Rays but the technician erased one of them and had to take another one which should not have happened, most parents don’t want their child to have X-Rays unnecessarily, they should have not made that mistake. When I had the consultation with the Dentist Cortes I brought it up and she made the excuse that the technician was a newer technician. The dentist immediately started talking about anesthesia!! She said “if your child shows signs of fear than she will need to be put to sleep in order for me to treat her and you will have to bring your child in 4 different times” Seriously!?!?!? I really wanted to have my child treated so I agreed with the Dentist Cortes to bring my child the next week for a couple of fillings. But have my child given laughing gas, not be put to sleep.

Dr. Cortes is AWESOME! !!! She made my very anxious 9 yo daughter very comfortable and wad able to get her teeth put to sleep with no tears!! So satisfied.

Dr. Cortes went above and beyond for us when my son had an injury! She will always be his dentist!
