About
Dr. Gene Mathias is a general dentist who enjoys providing a wide range of dental care to his patients in a relaxing and caring atmosphere. His desire to become a dentist grew from his love of the health care field and his philosophy of dedication and teamwork in achieving satisfying results for his patients. Dr. Mathias received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois in Champaign where he graduated with honors and was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. He then went on to earn his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Illinois School of Dentistry in Chicago in 1980. He again graduated with honors and was a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society. His professional affiliations include membership in the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association and the Wisconsin Dental Association. Dr. Mathias is active in his community, as well. He is a member of the Tremper High School PTSA, the Kenosha Area Soccer League and the First United Methodist Church in Kenosha. He volunteers for the INNS Program and the Band Boosters, and is a Sunday school teacher and soccer coach. Gene and his wife, Amy, reside in Kenosha. They have three children. In his spare time, he enjoys music, soccer, theater and reading.
