Recently, I moved to the greater Atlanta area and was looking for a reputable dentist. It was time for my twice a year teeth cleaning, and discovered that I had a cavity while at the office. The staff was very courteous, professional and Dr. Hegadus took the time to explain the process. If you are looking for a dentist that treats ALL people equally, I highly recommend Dr. Hegadus at The Dentist at Sandy Springs!

Arrogant Dentist

I visited Gabor Hegedus complaining of a tooth ache. He suggested a crown, but when he was done I said "hey, you crowned the wrong tooth." He looked stunned but insisted he had crowned the right tooth. I came back to see him shortly thereafter and said lots of pain in my tooth, and Gabor said, he didn't see anything and this went on for awhile, and he says, "I will give you some pain medicine and antibiotics." This went on for 2 weeks back and forth. Finally, I went to a new dentist and within minutes, the Dentist says "oh my goodness, there is a huge crack in your tooth...how could your dentist not see this." So, not only did this arrogant practitioner not only crown the wrong tooth, but he also couldn't see a tooth that was clearly cracked. I have reported him to the Georgia Board of Dentistry, requesting that his credentials are revoked and that he is suspended. In my opinion, he is arrogant and from what he did to my teeth, not anyone that I would recommend to anyone. Proceed with

Dr. Hegedus, his first name is Gabor and I have long just called him "Doc ", has been my dentist for 20+ years or so. His staff is friendly and experienced. He has handled all my dental needs from cleanings and fillings to crowns. All work has been very satisfactory. Simply put everything has been fine and I have confidence in him to handle any dental treatment I might need.

I've been a patient for 20 years and drive by lots of dentists to see Dr. Hegedus. My 14 year old son has never been anywhere else. Dr. Hegedus and his team have taken excellent care of my family. I've trusted him to perform a root canal on my tooth and it was very successful and low stress. Also, he does not up-sell extra services or recommend unnecessary procedures. I highly recommend this office!
