About
Dr. Gayle Kostyack was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. For eight years, she worked full time while studying at Bowling Green State University and Cleveland State University-and then graduating from The Ohio State University in 2002. She completed her General Practice Residency at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Commissioned as an officer in the United States Public Health Service, Dr. Kostyack worked for the Indian Health Service in Oklahoma for five years. She was deployed on the USNS Comfort in 2009 which led to her taking a civilian position as a Staff Dentist for the United States Navy at Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point. In 2019, Dr. Kostyack returned to Winston-Salem, North Carolina to work at the Wake Forest Medical Center until joining University Dental Associates. When not working or learned about dentistry, Dr. Kostyack enjoys spending time with her three rescue dogs: Grace, Gabby, and Craven. She also enjoys working in the yard, reading, drawing, and learning new technology.
