About
Dr. Corbitt was raised in Atlanta, Georgia and attended Georgia Tech receiving a degree in Chemical Engineering and a Certificate in Biomaterials. In Dental School and in his orthodontic residency, Dr. Corbitt was a Hinman Scholar and conducted research in the area of dental materials and authored several publications. He was an assistant professor at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia, where he taught orthodontics, treated patients, and conducted research. He currently lives in Cumming with his wife Frances (a pharmacist), and his three children. In his spare time, Dr. Corbitt enjoys gardening, reading, and personal fitness training. Dr. Corbitt is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, and the American Board of Orthodontists. He is also a member and deacon of Bethany Primitive Baptist Church in Suwanee, Georgia. Patients can visit Dr. Corbitt at the DentFirst Kennesaw and Johns Creek offices.
