About
Dr Murtaza received his dental degree with Honors from The University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine. As a dental student, Dr Murtaza, Columbia root canal dentist, received the Award for Excellence in the Predoctoral Endodontic Program in 2004; he then completed his specialty residency training in endodontics at The University of Maryland, Dental School in 2006. During his endodontics residency, Dr Ghulam Murtaza presented his research involving the Microbiology of Endodontic Infections at the American Association of Endodontists conference. Dr Murtaza is a member of the Omega Kappa Upsilon dental honorary society and has extensive experience in performing endodontic microsurgical procedures. Dr Murtaza has been a practicing endodontist for over 10 years and is licensed in both Maryland and Washington, DC. He continues to pursue the latest advances in endodontics by actively participating in continuing education courses and attending local and national meetings. Dr Murtaza is an avid soccer fan and enjoys spending time outdoors with his family.
