Dr. Burgdorf is originally from California, where he was trained at UCLA as an undergraduate and as a dentist. Dr. Burgdorf then received his specialty training in endodontics at Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Burgdorf practiced in Manhattan for several years before relocating to Atlanta, GA. He now practices at Atlanta Endodontics.

This practice came highly recommended by our dentist and a friend who had a root canal 15 yrs ago. I was not disappointed! They used the latest technology (3-D scans) and the staff were amazing. April, our tech, was so very friendly and made us feel comfortable right from the start. They fit us in for an urgent visit for a possible tooth resorption issue and I had tons of questions. Dr. B was up on the latest research, explained it to me so I could make an informed decision about next steps. He was not only very knowledgeable, but he had a great bedside manner. He displayed the images they took and showed me exactly what the issue was and how it was formed…and how they would monitor the issue and perform the root canal. He was so very reassuring even though facing a root canal can be scary. I was treated like a valued client. Plus, the office was clean, beautifully decorated, and calming (water features, etc) which was appreciated. Thank you Dr. B & April!!

I was in real pain not caused by a cavity or infection so I needed an Endodontist. My dentist recommended Dr Burgdorf. My insurance co said he was on their plan. I had to get an immediate appointment because of the pain & I was going to a wedding in Italy in a few days. I got an appointment for the next day. I have now had 4 appointments with Dr Burgdorf so I can speak to the consistency I have found there. Firstly the office is immaculate, attractive and the equipment state of the art. The staff - both Janet & Naomi are as helpful, friendly, considerate and informed as I have ever encountered in any medical office. Dr Burgdorf is absolutely super - highly competent, kind and very considerate in every way. He listened carefully when I explained I was not sure exactly what was causing the pain but that it emanated from a molar on the right side of my face. Using his very latest equipment - I could see on the screen all the molars in question. Dr B said I had a cracked tooth and that
