About
After growing up in rural Brecksville, Ohio, Dr Cook graduated from Albion College in 1969 with a BA in Physics. After marrying his lifelong friend, Marianne upon graduation, he studied architecture and city planning at University of Cincinnati. He spent 5 years as a City Planning consultant and systems analyst. While taking night courses In business, biology and chemistry, Dr Cook decided his strengths in science and art was a better fit for a career in dentistry. Dr Cook graduated from Case Western Reserve School of Dental Medicine in 1979. After 29 years of private practice in Mayfield Heights, Dr Cook reinvented his practice by moving to Beachwood into his new office after completing a year long externship with his staff at the Midwest Implant Institute (MII) in Columbus, Ohio. Having published in the Journal of Implantology and completed numerous implant cases, Dr Cook was recognized as a Fellow at MII in 2009. The same year Dr Cook purchased CEREC, a Cad-Cam porcelain milling system and began providing single appoinytment crowns for his patients. Every year Dr Cook becomes more enthusiastic and energized by his profession. Beachwood Contemporary Dentistry is and will remain a state of the art practice for years to come. Dr Cook and his wife are avid golfers, gardeners and hikers and 10K runners. They enjoy travelling to visit their two daughters and grandsons in Boulder and Seattle.
