About
Dr. Gregory J. Peppes is a graduate of the UMKC School of Dentistry. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Missouri in Columbia. Dr. Peppes has been in private practice in the Johnson County - K.C. area since 1983. Dr. Peppes has served as president for the Kansas Dental Association and also for the local Johnson County 5th District Dental Association. He is an active member of the Kansas Dental Association as well as the American Dental Association, where he was the Program Chairman for the annual national American Dental Association meeting in 2013, which won best continuing education programs and overall show awards that year, and continues to serve on many committees. In addition to the national, state and local dental associations, Dr. Peppes is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Academy of Forensic Odontology and has been awarded Fellowship in the American College of Dentists. Dr. Peppes is committed to participating in continuing education courses for himself and his staff to remain current with the latest advancements in dental research and techniques. Dr. Peppes is active with the City of Leawood in many aspects, where he started out as a city councilman for 12 years. He currently serves on the Board of Zoning and Appeals and the Ironhorse Golf Course committee, and is a member of the Leawood Chamber of Commerce. Born and raised in St. Louis, Dr. Peppes has lived in the Kansas City/Johnson County area since 1979. He and his wife Mickie have three children: Steve, Matt and Sara (all three are KU alumni), and two grandchildren: JD and Sloane.
