About
A graduate from Cal Poly Pomona California in 1987, Dr. Bean went on to receive his DDS from the University of Iowa Dental School in 1991. He completed his Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program in 1992 at nearby Scott Air Force Base. Dr. Bean was assigned on active duty for 2 years running the Falcon Air Force Base Dental Clinic in Colorado. Dr. Bean retired from the United States Air Force Reserve Dental Corps in 2011 as a Lieutenant Colonel after 20 years of service. Dr. Bean has continued his education ever since by attending courses in advanced pain management, cosmetic dentistry, crown and bridge, implants, restorative care and root canal therapy. Dr. Bean continually remains at the forefront of his field. He completes far more than the required hours of Continued Education each year and actively lectures to United States Air Force Dental Residence at Scott AFB. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the Crown Council, the Illinois Dental Society and the American Dental Association. Dr. Bean currently resides in St. Louis, Missouri with his wife Caroline and his son Alex.
