Care Philosophy

My goal is to have my patients understand the importance of good oral health and how it relates to their general well being. If and when dental treatment is required,we opt for the most conservative approach with the best long term result. We value the long term relationship we have with so many of our existing patients and welcome new patients as well. D.C. is a fascinating place to live and to work. I feel incredibly lucky that so much of the brains and talent and diversity that make this city so remarkable, choose to have their dental needs treated in our office.

Their office administrator is a mess. When I first made the appointment they said my insurance was covered. It was not. I didn’t find out until I received a bill 3 months later for $578. My insurance only paid $241. They promised me they would adjust the bill and only charge the amount my insurance paid, but they still went ahead and charged me the full amount. I have talked to them numerous times, and they say one thing and do another. Now I need to get a refund for the overcharging, with no hope they will follow through on their promise. They did the same thing to my husband. Never going back there, it is a scam scheme.

Dr. Harvey Levin is simply THE BEST DDS one could ever wish for. I have been his patient ever since I arrived in Washington DC in 1976, and he has been wonderful to deal with and shepherded me with enormous competence and compassion through truly difficult dental problems.
