About
Dr. Heather Green was born and raised in Kansas City, MO. She pursued her undergraduate studies in psychology and architecture at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. Immediately following graduation, Dr. Green spent the next year working with underserved communities in the greater Chicago area as part of Americorp's Public Allies program. She completed her dental school training at Howard University where she held positions in many organizations including vice president of the American Association of Women Dentist's Student Chapter. Dr. Green completed a two year General Practice Residency at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY where she served as Chief Resident. During this time she also participated in the SUNY Downstate HRSA Geriatric Psychiatry Dental Fellowship Program. Dr.Green continued her studies at Roseman University of Health Sciences acting as vice president of her residency class. She was selected to present her research at the national American Association of Orthodontics Annual meeting. She earned her certificate in the specialty of Orthodontics and a Master's of Business administration while maintaining a 4.0 GPA. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists. Dr. Green enjoys getting to meet new people and interacting with her patients. She considers it a privilege to be able to have a positive impact on the lives of others through improving their smiles. In her spare time Dr. Green is an avid reader who loves to watch movies, cook, travel, shop, attend live performances of the arts and spend time with her loved ones.
