In 1994, Dr. Bush started Orthodontic Care of Georgia (OCG) with two practices, one in Macon and one in Columbus. Today Orthodontic Care of Georgia consists of 17 practices throughout central and north Georgia. Dr. Bush is a graduate of the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Dental Medicine. After earning his Doctorate of Dental Medicine, he completed his General Practice Residency at the Medical College of Pennsylvania, receiving a Certificate in General Dentistry. Dr. Bush earned the two year Certificate in Orthodontic and completed his Graduate Orthodontic Residency at Howard University Dental School. For over 20 years, Dr. Bush commitment to serve those in the community who were less fortunate and needed assistance in order to gain access to orthodontic care, has never wavered. Thorough, The Share a Smile Program which he established in 1994, he has partnered with various organizations to donate orthodontic care to deserving children in almost every community where he has a practice. He has partnered with the Methodist Home in Macon, the Beatrice Carey Steel Pitts Orphanage in Atlanta, Congressman Jim Maddox in S.W. Atlanta, and Dr. E. T. Walton in Bibb, Jones, Houston, and Twiggs Counties, as well as the Ryan Cameron Foundation. In 2010, Dr. Bush had the honor of re-naming The Share a Smile Program, to The Dr. Andrew Young Sr. Share a Smile Program, in of honor Dr. Andrew Young Sr., who practiced dentistry in New Orleans for almost 60 years. This Program is now available to the children at the Andrew and Walter Young Family YMCA. In addition, an on-going partnership was formed with Ryan Cameron Foundation providing charitable orthodontic services to deserving students. Dr. Bush received the Metro Atlanta YMCA 2010 Volunteer of the Year Award in recognition of his involvement in the Andrew and Walter Young Family YMCA. An Alumnus of Howard University School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Bush raised funds, through private and corporate donations, which were used for a complete renovation of their orthodontic clinic, in 2004. Annual contributions and scholarships have been established by Dr. Bush, with the following organizations: Andrew and Walter Young Family YMCA, the DeKalb and Henry County Fraternal Order of the Police, The Scholarship program, Georgia Dental Society, The Warner Robins Alumni Chapter of The Delta Sigma Theta. Currently, Dr. Bush serves as Chairman of the Scholarship Committee of the Georgia Dental Society. He is on the Board of Directors of the Andrew and Walter Young Family YMCA and is a member of American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, and the North Georgia Dental Society.
