About
Dr. Henry J. Windle completed his undergraduate studies at Penn State University, then earned his DMD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. Following dental school, Dr. Windle served in the Army Dental Corps as a general dentist at Fort Bragg with the 82nd Airborne Division. In May of 1981, he opened a private practice in Beaver, Pennsylvania. He's cared for generations of patients in his inviting practice ever since. As a respected member of the dental community, Dr. Windle received a fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry. He has also earned certification for CEREC and Invisalign. Much of his recent postgraduate work has been in the area of cosmetic dentistry, treatment of sleep apnea and oral appliance therapy. Dr. Windle is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine; the only non-profit professional association dedicated exclusively to the practice of dental sleep medicine. Dr. Windle helps treat snoring and obstructive sleep apnea with oral appliance therapy, an effective treatement that is covered by most insurance plans. To share his skills and knowledge, Dr. Windle has volunteered at McGuire Memorial Home and Catholic Charities Medical Clinic in Pittsburgh. Dr. Windle and his wife, Terri, our office administrator, have three grown children and 6 grandchildren, of whom they are especially proud. In his spare time, Dr. Windle enjoys competing in triathlons.
