Our hope is that, at the end of treatment, you will understand why our smile comes from the heart, and we hope that yours will too!” EDUCATION & CONTINUING EDUCATION Dr. Henry Zaytoun, Jr. considers himself to be a life-long student. He attended the University of North Carolina for his entire formal education, first earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in History, and then his Master of Science in Orthodontics at the School of Dentistry and Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Continuing education is also very important to Dr. Zaytoun, Jr. He believes that a strong educational background is necessary and beneficial to his patients, and he is committed to future learning. PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS Dental Foundation of North Carolina, former president UNC Orthodontic Alumni Association, former president North Carolina Association of Orthodontists, former president Southern Association of Orthodontists, member, president 2013 COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT Community is very important to Dr. Zaytoun, Jr. He is a former president and Paul Harris Fellow of the Rotary Club of Raleigh, a former Board of Directors member of Wachovia Bank, and present member of the Board of Directors of First Citizens Bank. He currently serves on the boards of Safe Child and UNC-Wilmington Board of Visitors. He is also co-chairman of the campaign to build a new cathedral in the Catholic Diocese of Raleigh. OUTSIDE THE OFFICE Dr. Zaytoun, Jr. and his wife, Mimi, have eight children, all of whom make them feel blessed to be parents each and every day. Dr. Zaytoun, Jr. loves time with his family and believes in living a balanced life between his faith, family at home, and family at the office. His office family includes all his wonderful patients, their siblings and parents, and our dedicated Z-Team! Dr. Zaytoun, Jr. works out of all 3 locations in Raleigh, Garner and Cary.
