Dr. Hughes has been around dentistry all of his life! His grandfather, Dr. JR Hughes, practiced dentistry for over 50 years. As a teenager, Dr. Hughes spent summers working at his dad's practice doing lab work and assisting chairside. He joined his dad in practice in 1986 and worked with him until he retired in 1988. Dr. Hughes loves orthodontics because it is the perfect blend between science and art. He is a people person and loves the interaction with all the patients. Getting to know them on a personal level and delivering an orthodontic result that makes them happy is truly satisfying. Dr. Hughes loves to perform magic tricks for his patients.
