About
Dr. Homer Tourkakis has been providing outstanding dental care to the Arnold community for the past three decades. Raised in Jefferson County just outside Eureka, Dr. Tourkakis earned his doctorate from the University of Missouri at Kansas City and went on to complete a post-graduate training program in orthodontics at the American Straight Wire Orthodontic Association. After completing his education, he felt it was important to support the community that supported him, so he returned to Arnold and has lived in this area ever since. To stay up to date on the latest advancements in the field of dentistry, Dr. Tourkakis maintains active membership in numerous prestigious professional organizations, such as: American Dental Association Missouri Dental Association Greater St. Louis Dental Society South County District Dental Society (past president) Mineral Area Dental Study Club (past president) Missouri Dental Association (past delegate) Dr. Tourkakis and his wife Julie, a dental hygienist and current office manager, founded the dental practice in 1985. A Jefferson county native, Dr. Tourkakis felt committed to provide care in the community that supported him throughout his youth and so he chose Arnold as the home base for Eminent Dental. In his spare time, Dr. Tourkakis enjoys spending time with his wife and their two daughters, Christine and Megan, son-in-law Ryan, and new granddaughter, Clare. He can also be found fly fishing, working on various remodeling projects around the house, traveling, and enjoying the great outdoors by hiking, biking, boating, or floating!
