Dr. Irene Sheynman graduated in 2006 from the Marquette University School of Dentistry and completed her Residency at Loyola University Medical Center. During her residency, Dr. Sheynman focused on pediatrics, oral surgery, cosmetic and esthetic dentistry, as well as prosthodontics (restorative procedures). Dr. Sheynman has been practicing with 1st Family Dental since then.Dr. Irene Sheynman enjoys working with children, and both children and adults who love her calming and reassuring demeanor. Dr. Sheynman administers Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) for those who may feel a little nervous about seeing the dentist. Dr. Sheynman likes to look at whole-mouth health, which helps her patients to not only know what is going on right now, but also focuses on education and preventive techniques to make sure the future holds a bright and healthy smile! Dr. Sheynman is a member of the American Dental Association, the Illinois Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Sheynman is also fluent in Russian.In her spare time, Dr. Irene Sheynman enjoys a variety of activities including gardening, running, yoga, cooking, reading and knitting.
