I used Dr. Walz about 20 years ago for my TMJ, went again recently to get an updated appliance. He didn’t listen when I had concerns, just said wear it more, it may or may not improve. Paid 3k out of pocket and it cracked in less than 10 months. I took extremely good care of it considering the price. Their solution: come spend more money, maybe $500 to fix it (with appt. and fixing it) Staff was rude when I called. Terrible experience, will tell everyone about this awful experience so they don’t waste their money also. Btw, the appliances are different, my old one was much sturdier and never cracked from all my teeth grinding. But yes, let’s go with that… Highly do NOT recommend, driver further, look harder for a different office. You will be glad you did!

I came to Dr. Walz because I had a habit of grinding my teeth and would wake up with a tightness in my jaw in the morning. After meeting with him and him monitoring my braces with Dr. Arkwell, I would consider my case a success.

I had been suffering from TMJ pain and headaches for nearly a year when I first came to Dr. Walz office. With his treatment I no longer hear noises in my jaw when I eat, my headaches have gone away completely, my jaw no longer locks open, and my neck pain has improved substantially! I would recommend his services to anyone and I have worked in the dental field my whole life! Great experience.
