Dr. Jacques L. Gordon is a native of Daleville, MS. Dr. Gordon completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Southern Mississippi where he graduated number one in the School of Science and Technology. Following graduation, he entered dental school at the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry. After earning his D.M.D. degree, Dr. Gordon was accepted into a hospital-based Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program at the Medical College of Georgia where he served as chief resident during his last year. Dr. Gordon's extensive education and training, surgical expertise and unparalleled understanding of esthetics and function uniquely qualify him to treat the conditions, defects, injuries and esthetic aspects of the mouth, teeth, jaws and face. Dr. Gordon is a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Gordon is a firm believer in the value and power of education both for himself and his patients. He regularly attends seminars, national meetings, and oral surgery symposiums to provide the most current and advanced treatment available for his patients. Dr. Gordon enjoys spending time educating his patients about the how and why of their diagnosis and treatment. He believes that this directly translates to improved patient confidence and understanding, thereby resulting in decreased patient anxiety. Dr. Gordon works to connect with all of his patients on a personal level. He understands that trust is the foundation for a proper working relationship. You will see that high-quality care and attention to detail is his primary focus. ?Dr. Gordon and his wife, Sabrina, currently live in Midtown Atlanta. He is also a pilot and enjoys sailing through the clear blue skies. In his free he enjoys any activity that will get him outdoors and allows him to spend more time with his family.
