When it comes to cutting-edge dentistry and a diligence to deliver modern solutions to his patients, Dr. James Blank is as passionate as he is precise, making the most of his talents and drive to deliver day in and day out. Dr. Blank has successfully completed advanced training in sleep medicine and TMJ therapy, dental implant surgery and restoration, prosthodontics, occlusion, cosmetic dentistry, dental materials, and dental technology. As advancements in the field present themselves, Dr. Blank continues to cultivate his education, going above and beyond to bring the best of today's technology to his already progressive practice. Part of this continued education involves exploring new treatments and techniques with like-minded dental and medical professionals, teaching and lecturing throughout the country, and sharpening the skills he has already acquired. The Metz Center for Sleep Apnea is fortunate to have Dr. Blank on its team, as a faculty dentist he lectures, sharing his invaluable insights on sleep medicine, TMD, and practice management. Dr. Blank has also had the privilege of lecturing to the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry, comprised of some of the world's leading dental researchers and practitioners. Upon earning his undergraduate degree from Ohio Northern University, in 2004, Dr. Blank received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. Dr. Blank is a small business owner of multiple career-related companies, and in 2016 was proudly recognized by the highly-respected Dayton Business Journal as one of 40 top business leaders under the age of 40, a well-deserved honor and accomplishment. Dr. Blank is a co-founder of the Columbus Interdisciplinary Dental Study Club and a member of: American Thoracic Society, Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, International Team for Implantology, and the Sfumato Study Club. An ongoing love for the field and a fondness for caring for others makes Dr. Blank's days fulfilled, his interest intense, and his results unmatched.
