About
Dr. James Campbell was born in North Carolina and claims it as home, despite having lived throughout the US and abroad. While studying at Brigham Young University, he met his wife, Meredith Taggart (a Raleigh girl) on a blind date. Upon graduating from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Campbell was commissioned as a Dental Officer in the US Navy. He completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Naval Medical Center San Diego before being assigned to Japan aboard the USS George Washington, at the time America's only forward-deployed aircraft carrier. He later served with Marines stationed at Air Station Cherry Point in Havelock, NC, leaving active duty in 2017. Dr. Campbell and Meredith are the parents of four sons and a daughter. They are all thrilled to be back in the Raleigh area and feel fortunate to be affiliated with Lane & Associates Family Dentistry. Dr. Campbell is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. In his free time, he enjoys traveling and spending time with his family, reading, and triathlon.
