About

Dr. Hudson has lived his whole life in central Illinois where he first wanted to become and architect until someone convinced him there was a better path for him at age 14. That event lead to eventually designing and building smiles in Decatur since 1985. 2010 was a milestone year for him. That was the year, Dr. Ryann came home to join the practice and work side by side with her father. Together everyone comprises an extended "office family" that makes coming to the office something Dr. Hudson looks forward to everyday. He is abundantly blessed. Besides being a licensed orthodontist in Illinois he has been teaching residents at Saint Louis University since 1996. At SLU he teaches on Temporomandibular Disorders and on a variety of clinical subjects. In addition, he is involved in patient care. Outside of the office he is interested in all things and places that are fascinating - especially if it combines travel, reading and exploring.

The doctors have been lifelong students in the art and science of orthodontics. Our mission is to be the "gold standard" of orthodontic offices in central Illinois. To get there we follow these values: 1. Treat patients as we would hope to be treated. This involves running on time, being organized, giving patients sufficient time at every appointment, have a team of professional caring persons who are equally committed to exceptional personal care, and having a clean, technically advanced office. Doing all of this in a joyful environment. 2. We define a "sucessful'" outcome when the patients goals are met/exceeded, our esthetic and functional goals are achieved, and the clinical experience has met or exceeded the patients expectations. 3. The doctors have to be perpetual learners.
