Extremely frustrated and disappointed. Two weeks After having a filling replaced I experienced extreme pain in that tooth and was told I had to wait 2 weeks for an appointment to see what was going on. In agony I was forced to schedule with a different place to get some answers and pain relief and was Given a referral for a root canal. I called GFD to schedule, they said I needed a “consult” before the root canal bc they didn’t believe the other Place, scheduled the consult for another week out, only to be called 2 days before my appointment and told that their dentist won’t do a root canal on that tooth. There website says 24/7 emergency care but apparently an infected tooth on a filling that they did does not constitute as an emergency!! 4 weeks later and I am having to call around to find someone to help me. For weeks Every time I have talked to someone I get a different answer and today I was laughed at by the receptionist, which shows the level of compassion you will receive here.

Dr. Walsh is an amazing dentist. He is super gentle, kind, friendly and funny. He really puts you at ease when having procedures done. He did my root canal and other work with absolutely no pain. I brought my terrified 75 year old mother to him also when she needed dental care and she was impressed also at how gentle he was. He makes going for a dental appointment easier. Highly recommend him to everyone.

One of Dr. Walsh's awful partners botched a crown that caused years of problems and pain, all well documented visit after visit. When I spoke to Dr. Walsh about this, he advised I get a new crown put in...at full retail cost. He demonstrated less ethics, accountability and professionalism than a mechanic, and at least a mechanic would have had to fix a faulty installation at his own cost. I'd pass on Gloversville Family Dentistry if seeking honest business practices and competent practitioners.
