Very disappointed. Be aware of surprise billing and unauthorized billing of insurance coverage without explanation. I called Dr. Barber to ask if she would consult with me and talk to me about the details of a possible treatment. I was required to hand over my insurance before the appointment as part of “general practice” of making a customer profile. I was never told before, during, or after the appointment that Dr. Barber charges for an initial consultation. I arrived at the office and before I knew it the dentist technician began taking x-rays without ever disclosing the price or asking my permission. I got to talk to Dr Barber for maybe five minutes before she left and I had no clear answers as to the procedure or price I was looking for consultation on. On the way out the door I was never told this “consultation” would be charged and I would be responsible. It was only until 2 months later I receive the bill in the mail.
