Dr. Sahni is board certified and holds fellow status by American Academy of Orofacial Pain. Dr. Sahni is faculty at University of Illinois Chicago where she leads the Oral and Facial Pain Program. Dr. Sahni has completed her residency in Orofacial Pain and Oral Medicine from the University of Southern California. She is specialized to provide diagnosis and treatment related to TMJ disorders, facial pain and headaches, Sleep disordered breathing (Sleep Apnea), burning mouth syndrome, neuralgias, bruxism, oral mucosal lesions and oral cancer detection.

Care Philosophy

Hello everybody, My philosophy for treating the patients is mainly focused on listening, and understanding the patients story. Especially I believe that one needs patience and should be able to reach to the level of the patients in order to be able to effectively treat the patients with pain. Education, awareness, reassurance goes a long way in treating these patients. Her treatment methodology utilizes non-surgical and minimally invasive techniques. Also early diagnosis is the key to diagnose any kind of pain disorder as the pains become more complex and then require more complex management once they become chronic. I am delighted to be able to serve my patients and to be able to diagnose and treat them to provide relief from Pain.
