About
Jason A. Hodge D.M.D. joins the Apex Dental team after nearly 15 years of clinical dental experience. Originally from Suffield, CT, Dr. Hodge attended Weber State University where he graduated with a degree in pre-medicine. He then moved on to Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, PA, where he earned his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry. There he achieved numerous awards and accolades for technical excellence, including the American Academy of Orofacial Pain Award, the Stomatognathic Honor Society Award, along with several inclusions onto the university dean’s list for academic achievement. Dr. Hodge has since continued his dental education through various programs and residencies, broadening his knowledge of dentistry to include the latest dental technological advances and state-of-the-art procedures. Starting in 1999, Dr. Hodge spent a great deal of time as a general practice resident at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Salt Lake City in which he performed hospital-based dentistry on patients, many of whom were medically compromised or otherwise unable to receive outpatient dental care. In 2001 Dr. Hodge trained to become certified to perform orthodontic work, and has since successfully completed over 1500 cases. Additionally, Dr. Hodge regularly takes part in the Haiti Health Outreach Program designed to bring dental care to disadvantaged families and children in Haiti. Dr. Hodge is an outdoor enthusiast who spends much of his free time in the winter skiing the famous slopes of the Wasatch Front with his wife of 10 years and their 7 year-old daughter. During the summer months, he enjoys grilling in the great outdoors and jet skiing on the many beautiful lakes of Utah and the surrounding regions
